Almost everyone is looking for a secret pill or formula that will help them to lose and maintain a healthy body weight. I know I was. I have tried dozens of diets, pills, and weight loss programs. While I temporarily lost some weight with many of them, they were impossible to stick with, and I gained the weight right back. They were not sustainable. I started this blog so that you can follow me as I do this and watch me lose 50 pounds over the next 6 months. I know this will work, because I have done it before. My name is Dan. I am a letter carrier in suburban Milwaukee. The delivery routes in my town all have curbside boxes, so I don’t get much exercise at work. I sit in a truck most of the day. This, and poor eating habits, resulted in me being about 75 pounds overweight. But I have now learned how to lose weight and how to keep it off without fad diets or starving myself.
